CNC Operators- Entry Level and Experience Needed

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have strong Math Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Forklift experience a plus but not necessary
  • Required to perform secondary work such as deburr, polish, and part cleaning
  • Must be able to work with close tolerances
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8-10 hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
  • Mastercam experience is a plus but not required

Brake Press Operator

We have an opening for a Press Brake Operator. Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to perform a variety of forming, punching and notching that requires close tolerances of dimensional requirements.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and related specifications
  • Must have Mechanical, Mathematical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently with measurement tools
  • Must be able to complete physical functions frequently throughout shift and be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Job Functions (but not limited to):
  • Set up and qualify press brake work on both manual and CNC controlled press brakes
  • Move materials as required by hand/fork lift
  • Perform and document quality checks
  • Complete paperwork (move tickets, quality checks sheets and pre-control charts, timecards etc. )
  • Other cross functional duties as directed by management

Salary is based on experience $17.00-28.00 DOE

Hours: Monday – Thursday 10 hour days, 4:30pm-3:00am.

Assemblers/Warehouse Assistants

We are looking to fill immediate openings for Assemblers/Warehouse assistants. These positions require the ability to assemble units according to specifications and perform assembly control plans and procedures. Responsible to perform duties in the areas of production, shipping/receiving, warehousing and inspection.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Determine quantity of units required for an order and take inventory of parts
  • Resolve quantity discrepancies with crib attendant prior to initiating assembly process
  • Assemble units and perform visual check on all parts of all units
  • Test units for proper operation
  • Make necessary corrections or substitution of parts to eliminate defects and reassemble
  • Transport component parts from and finished units to stockroom

May be required to perform additional or alternate duties under the direction of the supervisor as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be physically able to lift products, bend and twist, stand on concrete floor for duration of shift
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug test
  • Must have reliable transportation – (this is not located on a bus line)
  • Good aptitude and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work with others as a team player and independently

Pay rate – $ 10.40-$12.00 DOE

Hours – Monday – Friday ( A shift )

Maintenance Mechanics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
  • Clears jams and sets aside product for inspection
  • Test equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime
  • Makes preventative maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action
  • Examines defects and out of spec. product and, where possible, takes corrective action
  • Complete maintenance and repair logs
  • Notifies maintenance supervisor, production supervisor and plant manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken
  • Performs related duties as assigned

Required Competencies, Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years in production environment (required)
  • Advanced skills such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED

Machine Operators

Temp-to-hire positions that offer 40 hours a week plus the opportunity for overtime. We are hiring for 12 hour rotating shifts that include weekend shifts AND hiring for regular 8 hours A, B , C shifts Sun through Friday w/ Overtime expected at least twice a month on weekends.

Compensation: $10.40- $11.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow work instructions and complete product log sheets
  • Operate plastic injection mold machine
  • Trim excess pieces of plastic using hand tools
  • Perform visual inspection of final product
  • Package product and stack boxes on skid
  • Maintain quality of the product while working in a fast-paced environment

Required Competencies, Skills and Experience:

  • Prior Plastic Injection Mold Machine Operation experience is preferred but not required
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
  • Solid work history and good attendance is preferred
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Have reliable transportation

Clean Room Machine Operators

This position requires Machine Operator experience working in a Clean Room Environment. Strict adherence to cGMP standards, clean room operating procedures and pass/maintain training requirements for Excelsior, Karma and other clean room specific products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operates machinery and packs parts to meet quality and production standards. This may include a group of machines or a single manually attended machine.
  • Works with Set-up personnel and Process Technicians to maintain production schedules and customer delivery dates.
  • Works with other operators to maintain and improve the working environment. Can recommend changes and improvements to procedures and processes that would benefit the company.
  • Maintain documentation and paperwork to support production activities such as problems encountered and/or machines that they have been assigned and are responsible for.
  • Takes training from Supervisor, Set-up personnel and Process Technicians to enhance knowledge and experience in all aspects of the operation.
  • Works with the Quality department personnel to be sure they understand and maintain current quality standards.
  • Responsible for the housekeeping and safety of their work areas.
  • Flexible and able to work in all areas assigned to meet customer requirements.

Required Competencies, Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Prior Plastics Injection Molding experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and display an understanding of quality, safety and process knowledge
  • Capable of working with team members as needed
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be self-motivated

Hours – 12 Hour Weekend Shifts & 12 Hour Rotation Shifts
