Parts Inventory Specialist
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
A local Rochester manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Inventory Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our repair operations, ensuring that our technicians have the right tools and components at the right time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of all spare parts, tools, and consumables using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Procurement: Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish inventory; negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Organization: Design and maintain a logical warehouse layout (labeling, binning, and kitting) to streamline part retrieval for maintenance technicians.
- Receiving & Inspection: Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspect for quality/damage, and process returns when necessary.
- Auditing: Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to reconcile digital records with physical stock.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to forecast part needs for upcoming preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and capital projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or parts room operations (preferably in a manufacturing or fleet maintenance environment).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Excel.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; specialized certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.

CNC Mill Machinist
Machine shop in Rochester NY is looking for an experienced machinist for their milling department.
1st shift hours
Pay varies based on experience – $27-35/hr

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Read Blueprints – Use prints to set up machine for production.
- Set Up Boring Mills – Set up job according to specifications or work order.
- Operate Boring Mills
- Follow prints and directions to produce required quantity of parts.
- Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding.
- Responsible for taking care of routine machine maintenance and keeping work area in neat condition.
- Deburr – Use various tools such as hand grinders, files, roto-burrs and sand cloth to remove burrs from parts.
- Inspections of Parts – Check parts produced to inspection criteria.
- Move Parts
- Move raw material to machine area for finishing using pallet jack.
- Load part to machine by hand or by using crane for parts too heavy to lift by hand.
- Move finished parts to skids or 4” x 4” wood pallets by crane.
- Promote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience with CNC boring mills
- With a quality work ethic, functions as a member of a customer-driven quality team whose goal is to ensure that product quality requirements established by the customer have been achieved.
- Holds oneself accountable for doing whatever is needed to meet the commitments made around project outcomes.
- Maintains adequate levels of performance and motivation despite job tasks that are routine, repetitive, and/or non-stimulating.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directives.
- Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible.
- Thorough operational knowledge and skills of specific equipment to be operated, including inspection equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have 2+ years of experience setting up and operating press equipment
- Must be able to read and decipher blueprints
- Printing or bindery experience is a plus
- Must have a high attention to detail and have a good level of mechanical aptitude
- Organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks a necessity

JOB DUTIES:
- Set-up, operate and run press equipment to make printed products to customer specifications
- Add and feed paper/material into machinery, as well as maintaining levels of ink

Basic Screw Machine Operator
Pay: From $17.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: A and B Shift: 10 hour shifts Monday – Thursday
We are looking for a Basic Screw Machine Operator for a local Machine shop here in Rochester.
Typical responsibilities:
- Load stock into the bar feeder
- Start/stop cycles
- Monitor operation for tool wear or breakage
- Perform basic measurements (calipers, micrometer)
- Replace simple inserts or drills
- Clear simple jams
- Perform routine lubrication and cleaning
- Measure/Enter data for SPC analysis and inform Level 3 operator if action is needed
Not responsible for: full setups, complex adjustments, or troubleshooting timing issues.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and stooping;
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time;
· Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced;
· Exposure to hazardous materials;

Flexo Press Operator
Local printing company is looking for multiple skilled Flexo Press Operators to join their team in Rochester, NY!
2nd shift hours – Mon-Thurs 3pm-1:30am, will train on 1st shift
Pay starts at $22/hr + 10% differential

- Must have previous Flexo Press operation experience, or something very similar
- Must be able to perform the physical aspects of the role
- Mechanical aptitude and problem solving/troubleshooting skills required

JOB DUTIES:
- Reads job order, installs cylinder on shaft, and secures assembly in bed of press.
- Fills ink trays with specified inks.
- Moves levers to engage dye rolls, adjusting position of cylinder to print one or more colors without overlapping or smearing previously printed area.
- Inserts shaft through core of paper or plastic roll and secures roll on press in feed position.
- Splices end of roll to trailer sheet remaining in press and regulates roll tension and feed as directed.
- Sets up specific tools required for job such as; dies, perfs, sheeter, turnbar, turret and lamination.Starts press, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment of printing plate as necessary.
- Cuts sample of printed material from end of printed roll and inspects for imperfections, such as blurred or off-center impressions.
- Maintenance of press performed as needed.
